Magic Number is a platform and consultancy offering what it calls an "Operating System for SaaS", aimed at software companies with annual recurring revenue between $1 million and $10 million. The founder, Nick, brings 16 years in the SaaS sector and scaled his own company (Pipeline CRM) to $7 million ARR before acquisition. The Magic Number offering is structured around a five-pillar framework covering mission and strategy, alignment and accountability, goals and execution, data and information, and continuous improvement.
Magic Number approached Menta as a new venture without an existing website. The launch site needed to look as technical and modern as the SaaS founders it would be selling to, communicate the credibility behind the offering, and convert visitors into qualified leads for the free SaaS Health Audit and the 20-minute introductory call. The brief was tight in scope but high in standard: a visually contemporary marketing site that signals seriousness without depending on integrations or advanced functionality.
Menta delivered the full UX, UI, and Webflow build, with a visual system that takes advantage of recent advances in AI image and video generation to blend photography and motion across the site. The result is a launch site that matches the technical aesthetic Magic Number's audience expects, presents Nick's credibility and the MAGIC framework clearly, and surfaces the consultancy's lead capture mechanisms at the right moments in the user journey. The project benefited from a client with a precise vision who engaged closely with Menta's design and review process at every stage, which kept iteration cycles short and delivery on schedule.
Magic Number's audience is SaaS founders evaluating an operational consultant. They arrive with strong opinions about what good software looks like, having either built it themselves or hired teams that build it. A generic marketing site or stock photography aesthetic would have signaled the wrong level immediately. The launch site needed to look as considered as the offering it represents.
The Magic Number offering centers on the five-pillar MAGIC framework, supported by four distinct service lines (SaaS Health Audit, Quarterly Churn Assessment, EOS-Type Implementation, and Fractional COO/CPO). The site had to communicate this layered structure to a visitor in one sitting without forcing them to learn the framework before understanding the value.
Magic Number's go-to-market relies on two low-friction entry points: a free 48-hour SaaS Health Audit and a 20-minute introductory call positioned explicitly as no sales pressure. Both need to be visible and credible without dominating the experience or undermining the consultative tone of the rest of the content.
The visual system was built around recent AI image and video generation models, using them to blend photography and motion across the site in a way that conveys technical sophistication without relying on stock imagery or generic illustrations. Each visual element was treated as a design decision rather than a placeholder, with the AI-generated content positioned to reinforce the framework Magic Number is selling rather than decorate around it.
The site was structured to lead with the outcomes Magic Number delivers (escaping stagnation, reducing churn, aligning teams) and connect each outcome to the specific framework pillar and service that drives it. Visitors recognize themselves in the pain points before being asked to absorb the methodology, which means the framework reads as an answer rather than an upfront commitment.
The audit and intro call are surfaced at multiple points in the site, each in context with the section the visitor is engaging with rather than as an interruption. Calls to action are integrated into the visual rhythm of the page, with the audit deliverable timeline (48 hours) and the call format (20 minutes, no sales pressure) presented as part of the offer itself, not as appended marketing pitches.
